Second Annual Barks & Brews Outlets at San Clemente

August 25, 2017

Families and their four-legged friends are invited to celebrate National Dog Day during the second annual Barks & Brews event at Outlets at San Clemente on Saturday, Aug. 26 from 4 to 7 p.m.

The free, family-friendly event invites attendees to pamper their pooches from head to tail. Sip on delicious cold beer from Lost Winds Brewing Company, Pizza Port and Towne Park Brew Co. or a handcrafted cocktail featuring Dulce Vida Organic Tequila and Tito’s Vodka. Enjoy live entertainment, delicious bites from Kala Food Truck, a doggy costume contest with prizes, photo booths, free treats and dog-friendly vendors.

Drinks will be $5 for a 10 oz. pour, with all proceeds going directly to the Pet Project Foundation, which helps support the local San Clemente/Dana Point animal shelter. Pet Project Foundation provides significant financial support to the shelter, and donates more than 25,000 hours of volunteer time each year. With the foundation’s assistance, the local shelter is able to ensure that every animal in its care will have a safe refuge until a permanent, loving home can be found – no matter how long that takes.

Last year’s inaugural event hosted more than 1,200 attendees who helped raise $6,500 for Pet Project Foundation.

Outlets at San Clemente is at Oak Tree Court, 101 West Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente.
