Pure OC Fashion!

Soak in a week of pure Orange County inspired fashion, as OC Fashion Week kicks off Wednesday through Sunday at the artists village in Downtown Santa Ana.

The events coordinated by the OC Fashion Association provide established and emerging talent a support system and network opportunities while bringing the community together through educational and social events.

OC Fashion week offers a series of lectures in fair trade and production; expert advice on entering the business, from branding, advertising, production, events, trends; and signature fashion shows.

On Friday, from 8 to 10 p.m. the Yost Theatre plays host to the OC Fashion House, a student design competition fashion show with students from Art Institute OC, Santa Ana College, Long Beach City College, and Cal State University Long Beach.

The Yost Theatre is at 301 Spurgeon St. in Santa Ana. Admission costs $12. Purchase tickets here.

On Saturday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. stop by the 2nd Street Promenade for an OC Born fashion show featuring the fall/winter collection of Dual Society (men’s); Adolfo Sanchez (women’s); iCtzn (women’s/men’s) and Mattelblack (women’s/men’s).

And on Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Yost Theatre there’s a Raised in OC fall/winter children’s fashion show featuring kangacoo Design, Auntie Kerrie and Fore! Axel & Hudson.; and an In Sustainable Fashion show featuring 31 Bits, Simply Vintage by Santana Rose, Upper Class Label, Love Clothing, and Lola Paige. Admission costs $10, (children five and under free). Purchase tickets here.
