Orange County’s Credit Union’s “Bite of Reality” for Teens

January 16, 2018

With thousands of teens entering the “real world” each year, Orange County’s Credit Union in Santa Ana is rolling out the “Bite of Reality” program on Saturday, Jan. 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. created by RMJ Foundation to help prepare them for bright futures. This program is designed to instill real-world responsibilities and skills that teens may not receive otherwise.

The “Bite of Reality” program encourages teens to integrate their knowledge of money, math skills, attitudes about choices and money value without the traditional classroom lectures. Participants will walk away with more insight on how to spend wisely, distinguish their needs from their wants, budget properly and understand how easy it is to overspend.

For more information, visit Orange County’s Credit Union’s website at orangecountyscu.org, or call 888.354.6228.

Orange County’s Credit Union is at 1701 E. St. Andrew Place in Santa Ana.
