Nochebuena: Christmas Eve in Mexico returns to Musco Center!

December 12, 2022

Celebrate Christmas Eve in Mexico at Musco Center for the Arts on Thursday, December 22 at 7:30 p.m. with a vibrant evening of music and dance featuring two of L.A.’s most acclaimed performance ensembles: Ballet Folklórico de Los Ángeles and Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar.

In Mexico, Christmas is not just a single day, but a whole season of Christmas-related celebrations. Today, the Christmas traditions in Mexico are a blend of indigenous culture, Spanish heritage, and many other influences.  In this concert, we’ll go through some of the unique regional traditions celebrated throughout Mexico and among Chicano families in the United States.

This family holiday event sells out every year, so get your tickets early, at muscocenter.org.

Musco Center for the Arts is at 415 North Glassell in Orange.
