National Fluffernutter Day at A Restaurant
The award-winning A Restaurant in Newport Beach garners accolades for its steaks, burger and seafood. The Register said it’s one of the “best places to eat” and gave it an Icon Award last year —it’s the oldest operating restaurant in Orange County.
And, it also boasts the best Fluffernutter around! On Saturday, Oct. 8, it’s National Fluffernutter Day, and if you’re new to Fluffernutters, you need to try Executive Chef Jonathon Blackford’s rendition.
The New England based taste sensation always involves peanut butter and marshmallow fluff, and as director and producer, McG, founding partner of the A Restaurant recommends, it's best to end your night with a Fluffernutter.
"It's our house-made do-si-do gelato, liquid marshmallow, peanut butter powder, and honeycomb...there's nothing like it."
Open 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 4 to 11 p.m. Friday; 5 to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
