iheartoc Giving Day: 30 Hours to Give Where Your Heart Lives

April 26, 2016

They say that home is where the heart is. For all of us who call Orange County home, we have a unique opportunity to give where our hearts live starting at 6 am TODAY, April 27, through noon tomorrow, April 28 during the second annual iheartoc Giving Day, hosted by the Orange County Community Foundation.

During the inaugural iheartoc Giving Day in 2015 our community came together and raised more than $1.8 million in support of Orange County exemplary nonprofits. With more than 415 organizations participating this year, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to support the causes and programs closest to your heart!

Are you inspired to help students through after-school programs? Support research to find a cure? Maybe art is where your heart is. Whatever your passion,  iheartoc Giving Day  is a great way to show your love for our community!

Anyone can donate to their favorite nonprofits on iheartoc Giving Day. You can use your smartphone, tablet or PC to visit iheartoc.org during the 30-hour giving marathon, and every dollar donated will be leveraged by bonus awards and prizes to increase the impact of your contribution. There is also a leaderboard which shows a running tally throughout the event so you can keep tabs on your favorite organizations along the way.

And be sure to follow #iheartoc across your favorite social media channels. You won’t want to miss any exciting tweet, Instagram-worthy moment or gotta-love-it Facebook post!

GIVE NOW: 6 am April 27 – noon April 28 at iheartoc.org
