Downtown Anaheim Chef Series today at Anaheim Farmers’ Market

Today you can learn more about healthy cooking at noon at Anaheim Farmers' Market. The first and third Thursday of each month, Downtown chefs will be demonstrating their cooking methods, using fresh local California seasonal produce and artisan foods at the intersection of Center Street Promenade and Lemon Street.

The Chef Showcase Series includes:

Chef Jenny Ross, cooking today at noon, is the owner and executive chef of the living-foods restaurant, 118 Degrees, has been a pioneering spirit of the raw-foods movement since 2000.
Chef Katie Averill (June 20) attended California Culinary Academy and has worked at prestigious restaurants, such as Ritz-Carlton San Francisco, Chef Charlie Palmer’s Aureole and Art Institute of California. Chef Katie owns culinary cooking school, Eat Street in downtown Anaheim. Classes range from scratch breads and pastas to ethnicmenus, Date Night to Ladies’ Day Out; Eat Street’s ever changing classes will entice and excite.
Erik Guthrie (July 18) attended Le Cordon Bleu, and learned from prestigious chefs, such as Wolfgang Puck and Chef Robert Bell. He now works alongside Chef Katie Averill of Eat Street, sharing his creativity with his students.

Beauty at the new Bulgari

Bulgari at South Coast Plaza will be unveiling its new look today after three months of renovations with a spectacular chandelier made of 4700 Murano “Giogali” glass elements, each one is handmade and hand assembled as if it were a a piece of fine jewelry, and other rich and exquisite touches.

The historic Italian luxury brand founded in 1884 will also be launching two new jewelry collections: The Bulgari Cocktail collection (pictured above), a colorful group of earrings and rings combining turquoise and mother of pearl with diamonds and cabochon amethysts, peridots and rubellites; and the The Graffiti collection - a contemporary
collection in pink gold with mother of pearl and pavé diamonds, a reinterpretation of Bulgari’s iconic logo.

Fine jewelry enthusiasts will also appreciate the special jewels on display from Bulgari’s High Jewelry Collection: a colorful and whimsical necklace with turquoise and multi-color sapphires, as well as a matching pair of dazzling chandelier earrings,

There will also be a spectacular Flora necklace made of vivid peridots, sapphires, mandarin garnets and diamonds, with a contrasting pair of coral earrings, and an exquisite sautoir made with turquoise and peridot stones.
