David Yurman Partners With Repeat Roses For Children in Need
On Saturday June 8, David Yurman will partner with Repeat Roses, an organization that recycles and repurposes floral arrangements. At the David Yurman boutique at South Coast Plaza, Repeat Roses will design a ‘Blossom Bar‘, creating a customized, hands-on workshop for 65 guests to make beautiful, one-of-a-kind bouquets. These bouquets will then be delivered to Orange County chapter of The Ronald McDonald House, where a stunning floral arrangement can make all the difference to those in need.
Founded by Jennifer Grove, Repeat Roses was launched in 2014 after Jennifer, an event designer, witnessed the enormous amounts of waste produced with each wedding, gala and hotel opening. Determined to find a solution to greatly reduce the waste for herself and others in the industry, Jennifer was inspired to start Repeat Roses, which transforms event floral arrangements into bouquets that brighten hospitals, nursing homes, and shelters—then composts to keep waste out of landfills.
Coinciding with National Rosé Day, this in-store event will treat guests to glasses of rosé wine and light bites while they shop and create bespoke floral bouquets. Customers will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Repeat Roses organization, and their social and environmental impact.
The Ronald McDonald House Orange County is a facility that provides housing for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in Orange County hospitals. The majority of their guests receive treatment at the Children's Hospital of Orange County, Kaiser-Permanente, Shriners for Children Medical Center, and USC Orange County Center. The house makes the effort to make the children happier and healthier by keeping the families together and giving them a place to rest and refresh.
