Colorful Kids Fun at The Flower Fields

April 22, 2024

During the final weeks of the season, The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch is a haven for children! With the fields officially in full bloom, families can enjoy a vibrant rainbow backdrop for their outings. Here are some springtime highlights tailored for kids:

  • The Monday Special (BOGO): Purchase one adult ticket and receive one child ticket free of charge. This offer is valid on Mondays until the end of the season.
  • Save the Date for Kids Day on May 5th! This special day promises a plethora of activities including bubble making, balloon fun, face painting, and more. The BMX Freestyle Team will showcase their skills between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Most of the day's activities are included with admission.
  • Engaging Kids Activities:

Carlsbad Mining Company: Experience the excitement of sluicing for polished gemstones using traditional methods. Sluicing is available for $5 per guest, with a $1 discount ($4) for kids who present their completed passport.

Santa’s Playground: Explore whimsical playhouses and giant mushrooms at Santa’s Playground. Children and adults alike will enjoy the nostalgic charm of the 'Guard Shack,' 'Doll House,' 'Crooked Treehouse,' and vibrant mushrooms reminiscent of Santa’s Village in Lake Arrowhead.

Sweet Pea Maze: Get lost in this unique floral maze and uncover its solution! Delight in the fragrant and colorful "old-fashioned" sweet pea blossoms as you navigate through the maze.

Single ticket admission is $23 for adults, $21 for seniors 60+ and military, $14 for children 3–10, and free for children under three. Season passes are $48 for adults, $44 for seniors 60+, $28 for children 3–10, with group tours also available. Private events are available to book year-round, including corporate groups and weddings.
