Baker & Olive, Your Culinary Resource and Inspiration

December 12, 2016

Just in time for holiday cooking and entertaining, there’s a new baker & olive location that just opened at Corona del Mar Plaza in Newport Beach. It’s run by chef manager and fromager, Ashley Cochrane, who loves to share culinary products to the home chef, anyone looking for gifts, and parents and their kids looking to make the kitchen a great family affair.

The new baker & olive shop – serves as a flagship location – offers an interactive tasting pantry, featuring a wood burning pizza oven (for demonstration tastings only), a demo nook, a cheese case filled with artisan cheese and charcuterie, and an array of specialty, seasonal olive oils and vinegars from around the world. They also source locally handcrafted and chef-inspired food offerings – from fermented vegetables and granola, to bone broths, organic breads and salumi.

The staff is cooking up samples and conducting demonstrations, so that you can get ideas on pairings, and unforgettable experiences at home. You can stop in for great product recommendations based on menus served by chefs in Southern California.

Baker & olive is a great resource for host/hostess gifts, as well as an amazing option for the foodies in your life this holiday season.

Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

baker & olive is at 928 Avocado Ave. in the Corona del Mar Plaza in Newport Beach. 949.759.1185.
