‘Art of Cooking’ series at the Festival of Arts
Foodies can look forward to the “Art of Cooking” series every Sunday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Festival of Arts in Laguna Beach. Every Sunday through Aug. 25, the cooking series will take place in the Festival Art Center and is free with Festival admission.
On Sunday, July 14 from 1 to 2 p.m. the Center Club’s Executive Chef Lewis Butler will take center stage sharing his culinary expertise to Festival visitors who can watch him at work, follow along with recipes, and sample his creations. Prior to joining the prestigious Center Club in Costa Mesa, Chef Butler has worked at Four Seasons hotels all over the country, Rancho Bernardo Inn, and Splashes Restaurant at Laguna Beach’s Surf and Sand resort.
The Festival of Arts is open daily through August 31 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (Early closing at 6 p.m. on August 24). General Admission: weekdays $7, weekends $10; students & seniors: weekdays $4, weekends $6; free admission for children 12 and under, Military, and Laguna Beach residents.
