World Premieres, Coffee on the House and More!

May 01, 2012

Greer caught two world premieres at NBFF’s Saturday night centerpiece and then rocked out at the after party at Equinox. The Lido Theatre was a full house and the after party was packed. Greer interviews the star of Should’ve Been Romeo and also of Decade of Dominance, the movie documenting long distance Hawaiian paddle boarding.

The afterparty, which featured a band playing surrounded by the Equinox pool, was the cherry on top for Saturday night’s centerpiece at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The film fest continues until May 3rd and with awesome premieres and events continuing throughout the week.

Big Sunday Weekend

Join the goodwill of Big Sunday Weekend, a celebration of community service this weekend at the Cypress Village Shopping Center. The community is encouraged to bring bus passes, wipes, games, bath items, Ensure, and smoke alarms to benefit Irvine home-bound seniors. Families Forward will benefit from any non-perishable food items donated and One Global Family Foundation will accept new or gently used toys and books.

To express their gratitude for donating to these great causes, merchants at Cypress are offering special deals for donations made in store. This is a weekend to help somebody in need, so grab some seldom used items from your cupboards and come on down to Cypress Village to get in the spirit.
