40 Day Sacrifice

Whether you’re one of the 1.2 million Catholics living in Orange County who observes Lent (March 5 to April 17), or a non-Catholic who is giving up something you love as a personal challenge, during the next 40 days, many quick service restaurants are offering a limited time fish or vegetarian option.

Panda Express: is introducing Golden Szechuan Fish, made with 100 percent wild North Pacific Cod. In addition, Panda Express offers Honey Walnut Shrimp and steamed veggies as meatless dishes.

Del Taco: Del Taco is now offering its crispy shrimp available in either a taco or burrito for a limited time. Customer-favorite Beer Battered Fish is also offered during Lent.  

Veggie Grill: the 100 percent plant-based Veggie Grill offers delicious vegetarian food year-round such as burgers, salads, bowls, home-style plates. It’s a great choice for those observing Lent or taking on a personal challenge.
