One of our all-time favorite OC based artists, the incredibly talented Zoey Stevens, is debuting his latest works, the Alice in Wunderland (Out of the Shadows) series at m modern in Palm Springs Friday from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The show runs through April 18. Zoey is big time. His high profile clients include Tom Hanks, Snoop Dogg, Steven Spielberg, Howard Stern, and Kanye West. He just returned from Las Vegas where he commissioned three large pieces for the Hard Rock Hotel. And Zoey has raised more than $500,000 for JDRF and other select charity events through live painting demonstrations…

Eat a Slice of History

Reading about OC historic preservation on OCLNN got us thinking about some of our favorite OC historical buildings that also serve incredible foods and/or make ideal venues for events and parties. The Ramos House Café in San Juan Capistrano was built in 1881 and is reportedly on the oldest residential street in California. Forgetting all of that, it’s just one of the best places in OC (maybe all of CA) for breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. Music, fashion, and art, oh my! The free Urban Arts Fest is returning to UCI Wednesday through Friday with a new collaboration with students, the Hip Hop Congress and Graffiti Beach.
