Weekend: Ghost Ship in Newport Harbor!

The newest Halloween attraction to hit Orange County is the Ghost Ship that will leave Newport Harbor Friday and Saturday from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. The haunted cruise is filled with 75 minutes of mayhem from the same company that brings the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles. The ship offers three scary levels that guests will have to navigate including a Treatment Facility with examples of barbaric treatments used to cure ailing men such as hydrotherapy, shock treatment and sleep deprivation. In celebration of National Food Day today, Avanti Cafe in Costa Mesa is offering a special menu from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. using all California grown ingredients and produce from two spectacular organic farms, South Coast Farms in San Juan Capistrano and Unity Farms in Riverside.
