The 2014 OC Music Awards Showcase Series kicks off tonight at Yost Theater in Santa Ana with free performances by Breach the Summit (8 p.m.), Ceasefire (8:45 p.m.), The Devious Means (9:30 p.m.), Jeramiah Red (10:15 p.m.) and The Field Trip (11 p.m.). Come out and support local music and receive giveaways from Wahoo's, Ernie Ball, Guitar Center, Audiofly and more. The show will be hosted by Kat Corbett of the World Famous KROQ. The Pageant of the Masters is looking for men, women and children to volunteer for the 2014 show, The Art Detective. People of all sizes and ages are needed to be cast members in the world's most famous presentation of tableaux vivants. Casting will be held at the Festival of Arts on January 4, 5, and 9. Volunteering for the Pageant is a great way to spend your summer and a fun activity for the whole family. Additionally, students can earn credit towards community service requirements.
