It's been almost ten years since one of my four sons was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes--it changed our carefree lives overnight. Ever since then, I’ve been committed to raising awareness and funds for a cure through the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and becoming involved as Executive Producer of “The Human Trial” a feature length documentary about diabetes and the search for a cure.
