Who knew it would be the golden age of ice cream? Not too long ago, we were introduced to Afters Handcrafted Ice Cream, known for its creative flavors and milky buns stuffed with ice cream; made-to-order liquid nitrogen ice cream at Creamistry and Cauldron; and now we have Churned Creamery that boasts automated churning machines from Italy so you can eat freshly churned ice cream straight from the machine.  Churned Creamery is opening its first location at Union Market at The District in Tustin on Saturday, February 13. Less Attitude, More Gratitude Now in Newport Beach

Café Gratitude, the famed San Francisco based all organic and vegan restaurant, is opening a new sister restaurant and concept today in Newport Beach, aptly named Gratitude. Gratitude differs from its sister locations in Los Angeles and San Diego; it specializes in seasonally-driven dishes from chef Dreux Ellis, and organic cocktails crafted by Jason Eisner, from Café Gratitude's Mexican counterpart, Gracias Madre in West Hollywood.
