The 107th annual Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade returns for five festive nights of fun from December 16 - December 20. For the first time in its history, the parade will feature grand marshal appearances. On Wednesday, Dec. 16, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim owner Arte Moreno will officiate opening night; on Thursday, Dec. 17, U.S. Women’s National Soccer players Christen Press and Amy Rodriguez will kick off the second night of holiday fun on the harbor. Ruby’s Diner founder, Doug Cavanaugh, just opened The Lighthouse Café at Newport Beach’s new Marina Park on Balboa Boulevard, a 10 plus acre waterfront development. The Lighthouse Café is serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily focusing on fresh, light California coastal cuisine with lots of seafood options.
