The much anticipated, Knife Pleat restaurant from Michelin-starred chef Tony Esnault and restaurateur Yassmin Sarmadi just opened at South Coast Plaza’s Penthouse. The couple’s chic new restaurant presents modern interpretations of classic French techniques. The husband-and-wife team also partnered on their previous Los Angeles-based French restaurants, Spring and Church & State. Spring mesmerized critics by using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients to create a cultured tasting tour of the south of France. The Summer Concert Series Turns 25 at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

The Summer Concert Series is celebrating 25 years of music at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach with Bank of the West! The annual concert series has drawn thousands of music fans to the resort’s intimate, one-of-a-kind Back Bay Amphitheater. The 1,000-seat outdoor concert venue offers unobstructed views of Newport’s Back Bay, with all seats less than 100 feet from the stage. This Fourth of July, enjoy Newport Beach’s breathtaking pyrotechnic fireworks show from the shores of Newport Dunes. The historic 4th of July annual Independence Day on the Bay celebration includes live entertainment, carnival games, food trucks and a full bar. Fork & Salad Brings “Aloha Spirit” to OC

Fork & Salad, the Hawai‘i-inspired healthy fast-casual concept, brings the “Aloha Spirit” to Orange. The location will serve as the concept’s mainland headquarters and franchise training facility.
