Carribean-Inspired Haiti Relief Dinners

Chaparosa Grill has planned Haiti relief dinners—on Sunday, at its Tustin location, and Monday in Laguna Niguel. Seatings are at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The Carribean-inspired prix fixe dinner will include choices of jerk chicken, West Indies chicken curry, and grilled Dover sole with mango ginger relish. I just found out that the first True Food Kitchen in California will open at Fashion Island this summer. It’s a concept developed with author and health expert Dr. Andrew Weil, so we’re talking health-conscious cuisine. True Food Kitchen is already a hit at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix. True Food Kitchen will open in the former Blue Coral space next to Roy’s Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse. Fashion Island in Newport Beach.
