Making it The Best Day through Art

Come on out Saturday at 6 p.m. to the Mint Fine Art Gallery in San Clemente for the first annual art show and silent auction benefiting Best Day Foundation of Orange County. Artists from all over the world have donated their art, even the preschool and elementary children from Monarch Bay Montessori Academy in Dana Point. This group takes special needs children surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and more to give them their best day ever!  At the art show enjoy complimentary beer, wine and hors d’oeuvres. 1409 North El Camino Real in San Clemente. 949.283.6456.

Antiquing for Oklahoma Disaster Relief

The Oklahoma disaster relief via the American Red Cross will be the non-profit beneficiary of this month’s Orange County Antique Market on Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the OC Market Place in Costa Mesa. More than 75 antique vendor will be there, plus you’ll receive an entry to the Orange County Market Place with nearly 1,000 vendors. $2 per person – children 12 and under are free. Available at the door.                        OC Fair & Event Center is at 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.

Marie Callender’s 65-year anniversary Cake Pie

It’s been 65 years since Marie Callender started her pie baking business delivering fresh pies to local restaurants in Orange County. Today, in celebration of the 65-year anniversary, Marie Callender’s wlll be offering a limited-time-only Celebration Cake Pie for $6.50 plus tin through June 30. The Celebration Cake Pie has layers of white cake, vanilla cream and frosting in a flaky crust with fresh whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles.
