Looking to make spring break extra special for your kids? Sign them up for Erik Nelsen’s Quiksilver and Roxy Boys and Girls Spring Recess Surf Camp. During the week, your kids will learn to surf, learn ocean safety, study ocean conditions, play games and make new friends. On Saturday, the Assistance League of Newport-Mesa’s sixth annual fundraising gala, "Dancing for Tomorrow's Stars,” will be celebrated at the Grove of Anaheim. This elegant evening of dinner and dancing pairs community leaders with professional ballroom dancers just like the TV show, and celebrates Newport-Mesa's 73 years of philanthropic services to children in the community.
