Del Mar’s Gourmet Food Truck Festival

Food truck fans will be in foodie heaven on Saturday, Aug. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. when more than 50 gourmet food trucks convene from San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles for the 3rd annual Gourmet Food Truck Festival at the Del Mar Racetrack.  You can choose from organic cheeseburgers, street Thai food, gourmet grilled cheese, fresh craft sausages and much more. Local students will be performing in the beloved musical “Annie” on August 10-11 and 17-18 on the Julianne Argyros Stage through the South Coast Repertory’s Summer Players. Coming Together to Fight Diabetes

Poker Tourney Benefits Students!

Support local elementary schools at a fun poker tournament fundraiser on Saturday, July 20 at the Boys & Girls Club in Costa Mesa. The annual Four Aces Tournament will benefit four schools in the Newport Beach/Costa Mesa area: Newport Height Elementary, Kaiser Woodland, Newport Elementary and Mariners Elementary. There will be food, drinks and prizes. The event is both a social gathering ($50) and a poker tournament ($150). Walk-up registration costs $175.
