Doheny Surf Festival

Celebrate surf at the Doheny Surf Festival on June 28-29, a free, family-friendly event at Doheny State Beach. The two-day event features a variety of surf exhibitions, contests, a vendor village, Kona Brewing’s Liquid Lounge, classic woody car show, music performances by Common Sense, Aloha Radio, Trevor Green, and more. Wild Goose Annual Luau & Pig Roast

Kick off summer at Wild Goose Tavern in Costa Mesa on Sunday during its 2nd Annual Luau & Pig Roast celebrated from 1 to 7 p.m. (The pig roast will be served at 3 p.m.) All proceeds from the event’s silent auction and raffle, and 20% of the day’s sales will go towards Irvine-based Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California. Just in time to shape up for summer, The Dailey Method in Newport Beach, a fitness-focused barre workout for core conditioning and good posture through spinal alignment, just added two new classes: Dailey Interval, the first of its kind in Orange County, along with a special Kids Yoga class for summer.
