We just discovered a huge find in Orange County for those wanting to rent ski and snowboard equipment. Phil’s Ski & Snowboard in Costa Mesa is the last remaining shop that specializes ski and snowboard seasonal leases and rentals. You can even rent clothing. It’s also a great place for repairs and sales. Phil’s offers top brands including Armada, K2, Rossignol, Niche, Capita, Von Zipper, GoPro, Dakine, Marker and Salomon. Little Tokyo in Long Beach

For the love of idaho Potatoes

The World’s Largest Idaho Potato Display-- more than 100,000 pounds of Idaho potatoes—will be on display on Wednesday, February 24 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the Northgate Market in Los Angeles. The display is part of a Potato Lover's Month Retail Display Contest that the Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) holds every February. The previous world record for biggest potato display was set on Canada’s Prince Edward Island in 2012 and featured 92,500 pounds of potatoes. Northgate Market at 944 E Slauson Ave, Los Angeles.
