At Unique Boutique in Orange, just a few doors down from the Pacific Ranch Market, the owners cater to teens to grandmothers. They offer clothing, jewelry, hats, accessories and gift items. Global Genes Gifts $100,000 for Rare Diseases

Orange County based Global Genes is giving hope and support to patients and families in their fight against rare diseases. The leading rare and genetic disease advocacy organization just gifted $100,000 to rare disease patient organizations! ​The non-profit organization promotes the needs of the rare disease community under a unifying symbol of hope – the Blue Denim Genes Ribbon. It just announced the winners of its inaugural RARE Patient Impact Grant program. Pet Adoption Days at Kaleidoscope

This Saturday, June 11, Kaleidoscope in Mission Viejo continues its Pet Adoption Days the second Saturday of every month. Presented by CARMA (Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid), the Pet Adoption Day is from 1 to 4 pm and you can come visit with dogs who need loving homes. Cats are available for adoption, but aren’t brought out to the Pet Adoption Day. The event will be held in the center courtyard.
