Costa Mesa Native Runs NYC Marathon to End Type 1 Diabetes

Costa Mesa native, Mckenna Cottam will be running the New York City Marathon on Nov. 6, 2016  to raise funds for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). She chose JDRF as her charity, in an effort positively affect people in her life. “26.2 miles is hard. Type 1 Diabetes is harder!” Cottam said. “Any donations are welcome and I would be more than grateful to have your support. “ You can help support JDRF and Cottam’s NYC Marathon fundraising efforts, by donating here.
