Ruby’s Burger Day Kicks Off Ruby Dooby Foundation

In honor of Ruby’s Diner’s namesake, Ruby Cavanaugh, the company is launching the Ruby Dooby Foundation. The Ruby Dooby Foundation will carry on Ruby Cavanaugh’s charitable spirit and dedication to the health and well-being of children. To kick off the Foundation, Ruby’s Diner restaurants (except Shake Shack and airport locations) will hold a special burger day event on Wednesday, July 27 from 11:30 a.m. to closing. Segerstrom Center for the Arts just kicked off the 25th anniversary of its Summer at the Center (SATC), program for high- risk and underserved teens through July 29. The program offers high school-age teens facing personal challenges a safe environment in which to grow, trust and develop self-esteem and positive goals.
