Irvine is the 5th location of this growing Southern California concept, which recently opened their Cypress location and recently announced plans to unveil stores in Temecula and Yorba Linda. Eastside Costa Mesa just landed a new Japanese-style yakitori and craft beer eatery. Oak & Coal features Japanese skewers of organic, free range poultry, wagyu beef, free range pork, and fresh vegetables cooked slowly over Japanese oak.
