Segerstrom Center for the Arts celebrates the grand opening of the Michael Maltzan-designed Julianne and George Argyros Plaza and the Center for Dance and Innovation on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. At 7 p.m., you won’t want to miss music by popular California-based bands Orgōne and Monophonics and an incredible, gravity-defying performance by BANDALOOP dancing across the wall of Segerstrom Hall above the new Argyros Stage. Dracula Live in Concert

Film buffs are in for a thrill when Philip Glass along with the Grammy Award-winning Kronos Quartet perform live during the 1931 film classic, Dracula at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7:30 p.m. The Philharmonic Society of Orange County and Segerstrom Center for the Arts are co-presenting Tod Browning’s Dracula starring Bela Lugosi with original music by Philip Glass performed live by the legendary composer at the piano, the Grammy Award-winning Kronos Quartet, with Mick Rossi directing from the keyboard. Riders in the Sky at Musco Center for the Arts

America’s favorite singing cowboys pay tribute to Roy Rogers, hero of the silver screen, at Riders in the Sky salute to Roy Rogers, with special guests The Quebe Sisters, on Sunday, October 29 at 4 p.m. Musco Center for the Arts at Chapman University. Steve Melen of Winner’s Circle Shoes, a self-described financial advisor by weekday, sports dad and racehorse owner by the weekend, along with his fiancé, Tanya Brandt, a former creative landscape designer collect winning horseshoes from across the country so that everyone can own a piece of luck. Melen is also a stomach cancer survivor who grew up with Brandt in Saratoga, California and after Steve beat stomach cancer, he felt lucky to be alive and dreamed of owning a race horse--so he did. Holiday, Westside Costa Mesa’s newest cocktail lounge, just unveiled a full calendar of live music and entertainment nightly Thursdays through Saturdays.
