FREE CONE DAY at Ben & Jerry’s

It’s FREE CONE DAY on Tuesday, April 9 at OC's only Ben & Jerry's shop at The District at Tustin Legacy. More than 6,000 ice cream lovers are expected to turn out from noon to 8 p.m. for the annual event. The lines may get long, but they move fast and there will be a DJ playing music for the crowds and giving out front-of-line passes, as well as a balloon-artist for kids -- all free.  And, if one scoop isn't enough to satisfy, folks are allowed to get back into line for an additional scoop. For anyone who remembers the perfect Alexander Gray store at OC Mix several years ago, you can still find his amazing selection of curated and independent eyewear at Alexander Gray Optical in Brentwood. Last week I stopped by to see their collections and owner David Gonzales showed me a new must-have eyeglass class that he designed and you will love. MIRACLES FOR KIDS RAISES MORE THAN $185,000 AT SECOND ANNUAL GOLF INVITATIONAL

Miracles for Kids, an OC-based nonprofit organization that supports families with critically-ill children who are struggling financially and emotionally, recently hosted the 2019 Miracles for Kids Golf Invitational at the Santa Ana Country Club. The event welcomed 150+ attendees and raised more than $185,000.
