¡DAMAS! Celebrating Women Creators

In recognition of National Women’s Month, ¡DAMAS! celebrates the creative voices of our community’s most talented and artistically influential women. On Saturday, March 30 from 5 to 7 p.m., at Julianne and George Argyros Plaza women poets, painters, performers, and even a blacksmith will share their gifts and insights through exhibits, interactive booths, videos, demonstrations and a panel discussion about women and their creative process. Craft Revolution at Orange County Center for Contemporary Art

Orange County Center for Contemporary Art (OCCCA) presents Craft Revolution showing through Saturday, March 23. Craft Revolution shows works with the unity of inspiration and skill philosophers call “craft.” The show includes drawings, paintings, collages, sculpture, ceramics, weavings, architectural plans and maquettes.
