Steel Magnolias annual Home Design Tour

Steel Magnolias will host its annual Home Design Tour Mother’s Day Weekend, May 11 from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Tickets, which are just $50 per person, are on-sale now and available for online purchase at thesteelmagnolias.org.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center at Miller Children’s and Women’s Hospital Long Beach.  This year’s tour includes four significant and architecturally mesmerizing homes in some of Long Beach’s most exclusive neighborhoods, including Alamitos Heights, Belmont Heights and Naples Island.  The tour is punctuated with ambient music matching the mood of each home with Champagne, gourmet bites, and other amenities…

CASA-OC and Junior Kids for CASA will be displaying 3,100 pinwheels representing the number of children in the Orange County foster care system on Saturday, May 11 at Fashion Island in conjunction with Foster Care Awareness Month happening in May.
