Donations Needed ORANGE COUNTY RESCUE MISSION

Orange County Rescue Mission is in critical need for personal care items for the 268 men, women and children residing at various campuses and the Village of Hope, the Rescue Mission’s transitional living facility. Donated items will be shared during the Rescue Mission’s “Christmas in July” event on Friday, July 26. The organization hosts this event annually with a two-fold purpose: providing resident families a second chance at a holiday celebration, and reminding the community that there is a year-round need for donations. ‘MORE THAN PINK WALK’ RALLY

To build excitement for Susan G. Komen Orange County’s new annual MORE THAN PINK Walk (formerly the Race for the Cure), the nonprofit will host a rally on Wednesday, June 26 from 6 – 7:30 p.m. at The District at Tustin Legacy for community members, supporters and survivors to learn more about the inaugural event. Rally attendees will hear personal stories from breast cancer survivors, volunteers, and long-time participants, while enjoying food from Prego Mediterranean, raffle drawings, a DJ, and more.  The District at Tustin Legacy in the Promenade is at 2437 Park Avenue in Tustin.
