Soka Performing Arts Center welcomes Grammy Award-winner Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra on Saturday, April 6 at 8 p.m. Under the direction of trombonist Delfeao Marsalis and anchored by the Dirty Dozen Brass Band founder Roger Lewis on baritone saxophone, the Uptown Jazz Orchestra (UJO) swings with confidence and soul. Their repertoire ranges from New Orleans street band songs, swing, bebop and the blues to modern and contemporary jazz, always giving listeners a wide-ranging musical experience. The Newport Beach Film Festival seeks enthusiastic film lovers to volunteer for Orange County’s annual celebration of cinema. The 20th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival runs April 25-May 2. Volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in several aspects of the festival. WeWork opens two more locations in Orange County, bringing the OC portfolio to five locations. WeWork 400 Spectrum Center Drive and WeWork 695 Town Center Drive (Park Tower) just arrived.
