Recently, I was able to attend the Vagina Dialogues at the new anti-aging institute and women's sexual wellness clinic, Liftique in Newport Beach. The medical discussion about vaginal rejuvenation was led by Nurse Practitioner Elaine Kopinga and Liftique’s founder and breast cancer survivor Meryl Kern. Meryl's focus is on non-surgical solutions to address concerns of all women living with courage, facing up to adversity and standing fearlessly together to celebrate our similarities as well as our differences. The Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement (WAM), founded by Maria Shriver, which is committed to helping researchers discover why two out of every three people with Alzheimer’s disease are women, and its partner, the UC Irvine Institute for Memory Impairments and Neurological Disorders (UCI MIND), one of the nation’s premier Alzheimer’s Disease Research Centers, have announced the next phase in their partnership, including a new donation, a new grant, and new research results.
