Girls Inc. of Orange County (GIOC) girls are at risk and need your help!  Luckily, the organization’s first-ever online fundraiser gives YOU the chance to do your part and donate so that the organization may continue providing online learning resources to combat the significant loss of learning during this time in addition to helping girls make healthy decisions while assuring them that they are not alone.  The online fundraiser runs all week long through Monday, May 11. Ramadan Feast Packages in OC

Ramadan, a month-long holiday observed by Muslims worldwide, began today and is marked by the crescent moon. It’s traditionally a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, community, and food. The observance includes fasting from sunrise to sunset with feasts before and after. The Recess Room Donates 300 Meals for Homebound Seniors and Unemployed Community Members

Viet-CARE, Moving Forward Psychological Institute (MFPI), and The Recess Room team up this Sunday, May 3 from noon to 3 p.m. to provide and distribute free hot meals to more than 300 isolated and homebound seniors, individuals unemployed due to COVID-19, and families in need. The event coincides with the start of Mental Health Awareness Month.
