With children home from school, the Environmental Nature Center, a 5-acre outdoor classroom that provides quality education through hands-on experience with nature has shifted to provide learning opportunities from afar. The ENC’s Distance Learning programs bring the field trip to YOU. Children can take a virtual hike with an ENC Naturalist as they present a program LIVE with easily accessible technology. Steel Magnolias’ Virtual Boozy Bingo

Steel Magnolias, the all-volunteer Long Beach-based organization whose main recipient is the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center at Millers Children’s and Women’s Hospital, is hosting its first-ever Boozy Bingo series on Tuesday, July 22 and August 25 from 5:30-7 p.m.  The cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple per event and includes a cocktail box featuring cocktail mixers, airline-size bottles of alcohol, bingo cards and chips.  To register, email Sue DeRosa at lom.suederosa@gmail.com.    The Wine Country, Long Beach’s premier wine and spirits store, helped secure the mixers and airline-size bottles.  After players register for Boozy Bingo, they have…
