South Coast Plaza Reopens

South Coast Plaza has reopened and is offering four convenient ways to shop: visit boutiques in person, SCP 2 Go, its curbside pickup program, complimentary private appointments at The Pavilion’s open-air suites, and personal shopping services through its Stylist Project. Many of their restaurants are also open for outdoor dining and curbside pickup. Their new hours are 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 12 p.m. –7 p.m. Sunday. 3333 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa.

September is Comic Book Month at Chuck Jones Center for Creativity

Each month Chuck Jones Center for Creativity will feature a main objective which involves three weeks of complimentary creativity classes followed by one paid creativity camp where they work on a group project while taking a deeper dive into the theme of the month. Each student will then receive the final produced collective project. Studio D: Arts School for All Abilities

Segerstrom Center for the Arts President Casey Reitz recently announced that the Center’s School of Dance and Music for Children with Disabilities has been given a new name: Studio D: Arts School for All Abilities. In announcing the name change, Reitz said, “We wanted to create a name that would be symbolic of the vast diversity of our community and, especially, honor children and young adults with physical and cognitive disabilities and their families.
