Take home an original work of garden-inspired art from this year’s Newport Beach Garden Tour on display through September 16 and support Sherman Library & Gardens! Every year the Newport Beach Garden Tour features an “Artist in the Garden” at each private residence on the tour. The artists capture points of interest throughout their assigned gardens. The finished works of this year’s eight hand-selected artists are on display inside Café Jardin at Sherman Library & Gardens. INAUGURAL VIRTUAL MARITIME FESTIVAL

Garnering support from oceanic institutions worldwide, the Ocean Institute – an Orange County-based ocean education center offering in-depth marine science, maritime history, and outdoor education programs – has announced it will replace its annual Tall Ships Festival with its first Virtual Maritime Festival, a multi-layered interactive and educational event featuring a three-day global stream marathon, September 11 to 13.
