LIT Cafe is turning one! Over the past year, LIT in Anaheim has gained a loyal customer and, despite the current circumstance, has continued to serve the OC community and beyond unconditionally.  The team is always coming up with new dishes to debut to customers and is sure to implement all of the necessary safety practices to ensure the safety of its staff/employees and customers. Steel Magnolias’ Virtual Boozy Bingo

Steel Magnolias, the all-volunteer Long Beach-based organization whose main recipient is the Stramski Children’s Developmental Center at Millers Children’s and Women’s Hospital, is hosting its first-ever Boozy Bingo series on Tuesday, July 22 and August 25 from 5:30-7 p.m.  The cost is $40 per person or $75 per couple per event and includes a cocktail box featuring cocktail mixers, airline-size bottles of alcohol, bingo cards and chips.  To register, email Sue DeRosa at lom.suederosa@gmail.com.    The Wine Country, Long Beach’s premier wine and spirits store, helped secure the mixers and airline-size bottles.  After players register for Boozy Bingo, they have…

OC Fair Virtual 5K Fun Run

This year’s 5K Fun Run is going virtual and includes some brand-new OC Fair goodies and a medal, plus entry to the 2021 Fair. With most running and walking events canceled, this is a great way to get some exercise with friends or family at your own pace, on your own schedule. Those interested can register for $35 per adult and $22.50 for children under age 12, complete the 3.1 miles between July 17 and August 18 then go online and record their time. All the goodies will be sent to the participants by mail.

Pipeline to a Cure Goes Virtual

Even though the big Pipeline to a Cure event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has been canceled this year, they’re having a fun 30-minute reminder of what we're all missing out on. Join them on Saturday, July 18 at 5 p.m. for a Pipeline to a Cure party, which will be held on Facebook Live.
