Three days of chocolate indulgence are in store for you at the inaugural "Chocolate: The Event" festival kicking off Friday evening (with a gala dinner at the Anaheim White House) through Sunday in Anaheim benefiting MUZEO. The chocoholics dream event includes 30,000 square feet of chocolate festivities: food, drinks, music, booths, fashion, movies and a celebrity chef challenge with favorite star chefs! Picture Perfect Kids of OC!

Major props go to OC-based photographer Paul F. Gero, who has raised more than $35,000 for Children’s Hospital Orange County (CHOC) in three years with his annual Kids of Orange County Charity Book Project. He’s currently working on the 2011 coffee table book that showcases children photographed in OC. And 100% of the $100 per family session fee goes to CHOC. OC Weekend: Farm to Food Truck Challenge

The first Farm-to-Food Truck Challenge kicks off Saturday during the SoCo Certified Farmers Market in Costa Mesa from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The foodie event will feature more than 20 gourmet food trucks in a Food Network TV Show “Chopped” style competition.
