Images Salon in Corona del Mar is celebrating its 11th Annual Cut-A-Thon on Sunday, Sept. 16 for Childhelp. This award-winning salon is known for its cutting edge cuts, color and innovative stylists. Images’ stylist will be coming into work Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to raise money for abused children on their day off. The place to be this Labor Day weekend is at the 14th annual Costa Mesa Wood Racquet Classic to benefit the John Wayne Cancer Foundation. The fashionable and philanthropic event brings classic style to the forefront, participants in the tennis tournament play with wooden racquets and wear vintage tennis attire.
