Celebrate surf at the Doheny Surf Festival on June 28-29, a free, family-friendly event at Doheny State Beach. The two-day event features a variety of surf exhibitions, contests, a vendor village, Kona Brewing’s Liquid Lounge, classic woody car show, music performances by Common Sense, Aloha Radio, Trevor Green, and more. Proceeds will go to State Parks including Doheny State Beach. Beer Gardens: This year, Kona Brewing Company will be serving up favorites like Longboard Lager, Big Wave Golden Ale and the new Castaway IPA, daily until sundown. Wild Goose Annual Luau & Pig Roast

Kick off summer at Wild Goose Tavern in Costa Mesa on Sunday during its 2nd Annual Luau & Pig Roast celebrated from 1 to 7 p.m. (The pig roast will be served at 3 p.m.) All proceeds from the event’s silent auction and raffle, and 20% of the day’s sales will go towards Irvine-based Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California. Just in time to shape up for summer, The Dailey Method in Newport Beach, a fitness-focused barre workout for core conditioning and good posture through spinal alignment, just added two new classes: Dailey Interval, the first of its kind in Orange County, along with a special Kids Yoga class for summer. The Jersey Boys Coming to OC

The highly anticipated musical, “Jersey Boys” will be making its run at Segerstrom Center in Costa Mesa on Tuesday, June 24 through Sunday, July 13.
