34th Annual Spirit Run at Fashion Island

The annual Newport-Mesa Spirit Run is celebrating its 34th year of bringing fitness and fun to adults and children, while supporting local schools. It will be held on Sunday, March 12, at Fashion Island in Newport Beach. The Spirit Run includes seven adult races (5k, 10k, 15k, elite mile, sub elite, open mile, and dog mile), and eight youth races (5k, six 1/4 to 1-mile races, and Toddler Trot). World Premiere of ‘Whipped Cream’ at Segerstrom Center

In honor of South Coast Plaza’s 50th anniversary celebration, Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents the World Premiere of American Ballet Theatre’s new production of Whipped Cream, choreographed by ABT artist in residence Alexei Ratmansky, with sets and costumes by pop-surrealist Mark Ryden. Opening night on Wednesday, March 15 is also the 50th anniversary of South Coast Plaza. There will be seven performances running from March 15 – 19, in Segerstrom Hall.
