Success at 44 Women for Orangewood Scholarship Luncheon

The 44 Women for Orangewood, a group of women dedicated to helping Orange County’s foster and community youth –just held their 16th Annual Scholarship Luncheon benefitting Orangewood Foundation.  It was an innovative, virtual luncheon – which included a gourmet lunch and fresh flowers delivered to each attendee. It was a huge success! The luncheon itself raised a total of $230,000, and the 44 Women auxiliary also raised another $54k from their COVID-19 emergency fund appeal.  So in total, the auxiliary raised $284,000!

Led by committee co-chairs Kimberly Kirksey and Mary VandeBossche with special guest speaker, Celebrity chef Devin Alexander who shared her personal connection to the cause and talk about healthy meal prep during an exclusive Q&A. 

44 Women for Orangewood was founded in 1999 by Susan Samueli with 44 of her closest friends. Since then, the group has doubled in size. It is made up of some of Orange County’s most philanthropically-minded and dedicated women who are devoted to Orangewood’s mission.
