Costa Makers Pop-Up Art Show and Modern Craft Fair

Costa Makers is a family-friendly pop-up art show and modern craft fair featuring a curated collection of artists and makers. The event will be held on Saturday, September 28 at 11 a.m. -  3 p.m. and start at First United in Costa Mesa, with an extended Block Party at Triangle Square. An event map will take you from an artist and makers market, to live mural paintings and hands-on art areas, beverage and dessert stations. 100% of food sales and 10% of art and maker sales will benefit the art program at Rea Elementary School located in Costa Mesa.

At Triangle Square festivities include a kids art experience with free art supplies and art teachers on hand from Art Masters! Free face painting & balloon animals by Mama Bear Parties. Free cookies & cupcake treats by Wonderland Bakery. Live music by Café Sevilla (world music) and Keys on Main (dueling pianos). Free stickers from I Heart CM. Art workshop by Aaron Glasson. Large-sized lawn games by the City of Costa Mesa. $500 in raffle prizes – register on Eventbrite to be eligible to win! At First United there’s a modern craft fair including a curated collection of vendors who will be featuring handmade and vintage items. Pop-up art gallery featuring the work of local artists inspired by urban, street, and action sports. Youth art gallery featuring the work of Rea Elementary School students. Fresh Mexican food available for purchase. Free coffee provided by Starbucks (450 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa – Mgr: Adam Rivera) and free drinks by Vital Proteins. 100% of the food sales and 10% of the art and craft sales benefit the art program of Rea Elementary School. 420 W. 19th St., Costa Mesa.
