Cheese Takeover at SideDoor

May 16, 2017

Cheese lovers will love SideDoor’s new monthly Cheese Takeover when one evening a month a different boutique creamery will be showcased culminating with a complete cheese takeover celebration in August.

The series debuts Wednesday, May 17 starting at 4:30 p.m. with Cowgirl Creamery of San Francisco.

SideDoor’s own certified expert and cheese monger, Tracy Nelsen, will be on hand at each takeover to educate diners on the various cheeses presented and recommend the perfect pairings. The featured cheeses will also find their way into select SideDoor menu items for that evening only.

On Wednesday, June 21, you can enjoy Redwood Hill Farm Creamery of Sonoma County; and on Wednesday, July 19, stop by for Willamette Valley Cheese Co. of Salem, Oregon. On Wednesday, August 16, it’s the ultimate cheese takeover showcasing the four creameries of the series including By George (April), Cowgirl (May), Redwood Hill Farm (June), and Willamette Valley Cheese Co. (July). The evening will offer cheese, charcuterie, passed appetizers and beverage pairings.

Wednesday Takeovers – five-piece cheese board is $28. August 16 - $125 per person
