La Ventura Offers Meal Kits Amid Quarantine In South OC

Amidst weddings and events being canceled and postponed, the La Ventura Event Center in San Clemente is taking advantage of its newly hired chef by offering meal kits for local residents. Each of the seven meal kits is curated by chef Moriah Robison to feed or quench a household of four or more. Farm to Chef to Healthcare Heroes and Feeding Our Community Programs

There are so many inspiring stories and good coming out of the coronavirus crisis in our community. For instance, Glenn Tanaka at Tanaka Farms in Irvine shared his strawberries that he grew for student field trips which were canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic. He’s sharing strawberry crops with Solutions for Urban Agriculture volunteer gleaners who are picking the strawberries for the "Farm to Chef to Healthcare Heroes and Community" program.
